Azita Ghanizada

Azita was born in Kabul in Afghanistan. She is an Afghan American who lives in the United States. She was raised in Northern Virginia, and is the middle daughter of twin sisters. Ghanizada was raised within Northern Virginia and is the middle child of two sisters. Ghanizada began her career on the television scene by appearing in a couple of National Commercials. Ghanizada's appearance on the Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara was nominated for the Best Actress award at one of the film festivals. She appeared as a guest star in several television shows, like How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych & Castle. Recent appearances included the science fiction-action film Blood Shot (2009) and the comedies that are independent You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada was cast in the General Hospital spinoff General Hospital which aired on prime time television. In season 2, Night Shift, Ghanizada played Dr. Saira Bhatra who is an holistic physician. Ghanizada was cast as Kelly the Prada salesgirl on HBO Entourage.
